The Disgorgeous podcast crew has published the fourth issue of their zine - this one is called The Musical Terroir. It’s an irreverent discussion of that third rail of wine words. It’s more cheeky than really stickin it to the man but I applaud what they’re doing and I appreciate the questions they are asking. It would seem that these guys don’t take themselves too seriously which is A) refreshing and B) sadly a real rarity in the wine world (I said what I said). Most of the contributors work as somms or reps for wine distributors but the geologist Brenna Quigley has a piece in here too. All of them are fun to read. Stop by the lab and buy one for $6.
